if hybrid cars are designed to save on gas, why do they cost so much more? you’ll just spend the same anyway

Service Port Cap-Red High Side (the little red cap where you put your freon at) is it one size fits all?

I would like to know if the Service Port Cap-Red High Side is one size fits all. I went to midas almost 2 months ago to get my ac fixed, and they said that there was a problem with my Service Port Cap. They said that they did not have the right size cap, and they needed to place an order for it. Well I do not have my car part yet and I keep getting the run around when I call them. I stopped by a car auto parts store last week and they had one of those in stock, but the cashier told me it was one size fits all.
So who is right, midas or the cashier. If midas is right, can someone please tell me what is the model number of the cap that I need to get. I have a 2000 dodge stratus se.

My parents have previously claimed me on taxes, this year I would like to claim myself but am unsure on laws?

Thank you for your answer. One more question, I still need a remote starter for my car what should I do to make sure it works? Is there specific remote starter which works for my BMW 1997?
